A unique and the only female vocal a-cappella jazz quintet. The initiator of the “Beauty Band’s” birth was Oksana Ryabokon’ (ex-“Jazz-Expromt”) who made a dream of a women vocal ensemble to come true. The Group has been working sinse 2000. It took part in several Ukrainian jazz festivals, and received the title of Laureates of the 1-st competition of young jazz performers in Donetsk (2001). The “Beauty Band” performed successfully on the “Dniprogastrol” festival (2002), but the next day was marked by the tragedy. The soloist Tetyana Palash suddenly died. The Group’s cast found the force to continue working. A number of interesting and delicate arrangements were done for the Group by Evgen Dergunov, who accompanied the “Beauty Band” during the record of a TV-programme “35 minutes of Jazz”.

The most colourful and professional performance of the “Beauty Band” in 2003 was the one on a jazz festival “Ednist” (“The Unity”).
