“Gurt Yo Gurt” was created in 1999. There were as young musicians in the Group’s cast, as famous ones from the group “Vsyak Vipadok”. The new Group united virtuoso musicians who were capable to create original pieces and mix them with well-known traditional music. The Group’s style is hard to be determined, for it is a mix of Ireland folk, Celts melodies, country, jazz, rock and the “new age” music. Fiery dance rhymes are well combined with refined pieces by T.Reshet’ko, O.Putyatin and Jack Frost. Performers of “Gurt Yo Gurt” are the favourites of Kyiv public and participators and winners of numerous jazz and folk festivals.
