A tenor saxophonist, leader and participator of a big amount of Ukraine jazz ensembles. Igor is an experienced performer and a brilliant improviser. He was a laureate of the “Jazz-Goloseyevo” festival (1987-1988), a soloist of Petro Pashkov’s quartet (1989-1991), and a soloist of Oleksandr Kolontyrskiy’s quartet (1989-1990). Among Igor’s constant partners there are Feliks Gershkovich (bass-guitar) and Oleksiy Shmatok (drums). Also he collaborated with Kyiv guitarist Olrksandr Moroz and they both recorded several interesting compositions to the Fund of Ukrainian radio. Igor has an experience of performing in big-bands, jazz combo and small ensembles. He is a highly educated performer who knows classic jazz music well in a New-Orleans, Chicago, suing styles, etc. Also he convincingly performs bee-pop, Latino and “mainstream” music. Since 1996 Igor has been leading of an own quartet, quintet, Dixieland, collaborating with a female singer Olena Dobryts’ka. Collaborating with a pianist Petro Pashkov he created a combo “JB Band” having James Brown hits and "R & B", "funk" and "soul" music in its repertoire (1999). In 1999-2000 Igor collaborated with a Turkish oianist Il’yas Mirzoev.

The main paradox lies in the fact that Igor Dyachenko still has no official records on CDs.
