A well-known Ukrainian duo from Dniproretrovsk. Since 1994 Lyudmila and Mykhaylo have been working together. The Duo’s style lies in a combination of different music trends – the “new age” music, jazz and classic. A tendency to synthesis of author’s pieces and folk elements of different countries can be seen in their music. A successful use of processors and bass-guitar by Myhailo in combination with Lyudmila’s violin and flexible vocal allows the Duo to have a deep and bright sound. They took part in a big amount of jazz and modern music festivals in Ukraine and abroad. Since 1997 the Duo has been collaborating with a famous Kyiv producer Oleksandr Lysokobylko. The “TET” TV company made a musical film about Duo’s creative life. Moreover, Myhailo performs in a trio and a duo with a famous Ukrainian composer and jazz guitarist Olrksandr Lyubchneko (Dnipropetrovsk). Nowadays Lyudmila and Mykhaylo are working under the second solo album. Those who are interested in jazz can name several well-known Duo’s pieces. “The Shadow” and “The Place Where We Are Absent” are the true Ukrainian jazz hits.
