Born in 1955

A famous jazz pianist, keyboard player, arranger, composer and teacher. Pashkov is a leader of numerous jazz ensembles. He was a graduate of Kyiv Conservatory and a teacher of the highest jazz faculty of Kyiv music secondary school named by Glier. Pashkov is a leader of several jazz groups, a member and laureate of jazz festivals “Golosyeevo” (1987, 1988). His partners that time were Sergiy Khmelyov (drums), Igor Dyachenko (saxophone), Feliks Gershkovich (bass-guitar). In the beginning of 1990s Pashkov created one of the most famous jazz ensembles of Ukraine – “Jazz Vuiko Band”, which gathered Kostyantyn Klyashtornyi (saxophone), Vadym Medvid’ (bass-guitar), Stanislav Ivanov (drums).

Since 1995 he has been performing as a solo keyboard player, a composer and arranger. Among Pashkov’s works of that times one can name “The Ukrainian project”, “Chornobyl Symphony”, which was successfully performed on a music festival in Genoa (1996). “The Christmas project” united 10 jazz versions of classic pieces “Ave Maria” by different authors and original Pashkov’s piece “99 days”.

He is a participant of jazz festivals in Donetsk, Odesa, Nicopol, Krivyi Rig and Kyiv. Also he performed in the “KDP” (KTJ) quartet – Kyiv Jazz Teachers (19990-2001). Pashkov is a leader of an own quartet with S.Khmelyov, M.Glyadetskiy and V.Volkov.
