Born in 1953

A famous Russian pianist, keyboard player, composer and leader of jazz groups. V’yacheslav was a graduate of Moscow pedagogical institute (1975), a participator of jazz-rock ensemble “Arsenal” (1974-1982), a leader of the group “Spectrum” (1975-1976), and a founder of the group “Quadro” (1982). was a participator and laureate of jazz festivals in Moscow, Prague, Warsaw, Berlin and Bratislava. V’yacheslav is a brilliant duo partner, he performed and recorded a lot with Oleksiy Kozlov and Sergiy Myanukyan. He was an author of well-known jazz compositions “The Coast of Hope”, “Tandem”, “Retro”, “The Grotesque Waltz”, “Blues for Friends”, etc. Also he created two rock-operas “The Blue Beard” and “Wandering stars” and a musical for children “Jungle-Show”.

V’yacheslav was a leader of the acoustic trio “New Romantic Jazz” (1997-2003). In recent years he has been frequently performing in Ukraine and collaborating with the “Theatre of Jazz” agency in Kiev.
